Everything in the practice of nailing matters. Its duration depends on preparation and mood, the effectiveness of classes depends on the quality of the board, the step of the nails depends on the experience of the practitioner. Engravings are filled with meaning, the material of the product carries its own energy, and even the location of the nails matters!
Have you noticed that the nails are arranged differently on the sadhu's board? What are the options? How to choose? What does it affect? Let's figure it out.
Sadhu board nail marking options
Geometric patterns exist all around us, creating the fundamental structure and patterns of life in the universe. What exactly is the meaning behind these symbols? We have studied the placement of nails on sadhu boards to shed light on their meaning.
Nails on the product can be:
square,
rhombus,
flower of Life.
IN ADDITION TO THE SYMBOLIC MEANING, THE LOCATION CARRIES AND PRACTICAL SIGNIFICANCE
01_Nails in a square
A square is a closed quadrilateral with equal sides. Square properties:
A square has 4 sides and 4 vertices.
All sides of a square are equal in length.
All interior angles are equal and right.
The sum of all interior angles is 360°.
SQUARE - PERSONALIZES THE BASIS OR BASE, HAS A PRACTICAL, GROUNDING ENERGY
We can find the shape of a square everywhere: on a chessboard, on a wall clock, in a slice of bread and a lump of sugar.
When the nails are arranged in a square, the distance along the sides of the figure is the same, but they differ diagonally. This complicates the practice for beginners, as the chosen nail pitch ends up being larger. Therefore, this marking option is used on boards for lying on nails. When the impact area is larger, uneven nail spacing is tolerated and is not felt as acutely as when standing.
02_Diamond shaped nails
A rhombus is a closed two-dimensional flat figure. It is considered a special parallelogram. A rhombus is also called an equilateral quadrilateral because all of its sides are equal in length. The term "rhombus" comes from the ancient Greek word "rhombos", which means something rotating.
The rhombus can be divided into two triangles. From an esoteric point of view, the upward facing triangle represents active force, logical thinking, analytics, prudence, courage and willpower. The downward facing triangle is passive energy, receptivity, sensuality, the subconscious.
RHOMBUS REPRESENTS BALANCE AND HARMONY OF OPPOSITE ENERGIES
The rhombus is found in a variety of places: a kite, a pattern on the coat of giraffes, and even a fontanel on the head of a newborn.
With the arrangement of the nails in the form of a rhombus, as well as with the square option, the distance between the nails will not be equal. Sometimes there is a central nail in the middle of the rhombus, such a board is quite suitable for beginners.
03_Flower of life
The flower of life is composed of evenly spaced overlapping circles with hexagonal symmetry similar to a hexagon centered in the middle.
The flower of life throughout the world is considered a sacred symbol and contains the "blueprint of creation", the "building blocks" of the universe. It is a template through which the basis of life can be expressed.
THE HEXAGON IS USED AS A SYMBOL TO DESIGNATE SPIRITUAL ACHIEVEMENTS OF A HUMAN, HARMONY, BALANCE, UNITY
In nature, hexagons are everywhere: honeycombs, snowflakes, the molecular nucleus of water.
The arrangement of the nails on the sadhu's board, according to the principle of the flower of life, allows you to line up the nails so that the distance between them is the same. In this option, the most harmonious and correct effect on the feet is achieved.
You can use the meaning of the placement of the nails as a tool to add meaning to your studies or approach the issue from a functional point of view.
According to our experience and feedback from clients, as well as those who come to practice with me, it is a little easier and more comfortable to stand on the nails of sadhus located along the flower of life. .
In addition to choosing a nail pattern, it is important to determine the correct pitch (distance between nails). For beginners, the distance between the nails is 8 mm, 9 mm. For those who are already familiar with sadhu boards and for bold beginners, there is a pitch of 10 mm and 11 mm, for experienced practitioners - 12 mm, 12.5 mm, 13 mm and 15 mm.
